Andover - Order the "Best Burger in the world" from Timbuktu 1251 N. Andover Road and head for one of the many parks. We recommend the 80 acre nature Central Park complete with walking paths, 1607 E. Central.

Andover - If you're wanting a good steak - Stooges Restaurant & Sports Bar is where you want to cool off.

 

Augusta - In the Fall, take a visit back in time at the Yesteryear Fair.

Augusta - Eat a meal or have a delicious baked snack at any of the restaurants.

Augusta - Attend a movie in the Historic Theatre. you can't beat the price.

 

Beaumont - A drive to Beaumont is well worth your while to have a meal at the historic hotel, view the wooden water tower across the road and wind farm just a few miles away.

 

Benton - Attend a Scott Hartley's glass blowing demonstration and view beautiful glass art in the gallery.

Benton - Make arrangements to attend a musical evening along with a delicious Chuckwagon meal in the Prairie Rose Chuckwagon Ranch.

 

Cassoday - Go the first Sunday of each month and take in the hundreds of motorcycles that have gathered.

El Dorado - A definite "must do" during October is a visit to a pumpkin patch like no other. Walter's Pumpkin Patch, located 10 miles north of El Dorado gives your family a day on the farm. Experience the corn maze, Haunted Cannery, tunnel slide and Pumpkin Pantry.

El Dorado - Take a ride in an airplane or watch over 100 vintage planes fly-in during the fly-in event in July at the El Dorado Airport, 1485 SE 30th, off of Highway 77 south of town.

El Dorado - Fishing, skiing, boating, camping, swimming, hiking and other outdoor activities can all happen at the El Dorado Lake and State Park. Rent a rustic or deluxe full amenities cabin. You can also rent the large outdoor amphitheater for a concert, wedding or other super activity.

Latham - A small town in the Southeast part of Butler County, it's worth a drive on Saturday night to consume a hand cut steak at the Latham Saloon. Yum.

 

Potwin - Attend the Watermelon Festival and enjoy dinner and then kick up your heels at the street dance. Daytime activities are also on the agenda.

 

Rose Hill - This booming town is not lacking for celebrations. Take in their fabulous 4th of July Festival or their Fall Festival. Many, many fun activities for the family.

 

Towanda - Why not visit the Why Not What Not Shop for items from new to used to antiques in pristine condition.

Towanda - Visit the hometown of Miss Kansas 2006! You might want to consider this in October during their Rushing Water Festival. Find out how they got the name of this festival.
