ITEM #1 – CONSIDER APPROVAL OF 9-1-1 CONSOLE FURNITURE CONTRACT WITH XYBIX IN THE AMOUNT OF $77,792
Chris Davis, 9-1-1 Director, came before the Board for approval of the contract for 6 positions from XYBIX. On March 15, 2005, the Board authorized the Director to seek bids for 9-1-1 Console furniture. The Board opened these bids on April 5, 2005 and approved the XYBIX bid on April 19, 2005 instructing the Director to return with a contract. The original specification called for 8 consoles, which were bid at $101,411. Due to the remodeling of the East Annex coming in a little higher than anticipated, we are looking at six console positions.
Commissioner Waldorf motioned to approve the contract with XYBIX Systems Inc. for 6 console positions in the amount of $77,792 to be funded through the East Annex Remodeling budget, and authorize the Chair to sign. Commissioner Woydziak seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
